Maps are interesting. PastRoads Ontario is brand new. We are still working on developing content, but soon you will be able to find comprehensive Guidebooks, each designed around an interesting story in Ontario's history. The goal will be to provide you will everything you need to take your own road trip, to retrace the footsteps of the indigenous men and women who called the vast forests and waterways of Ontario home since time immemorial, and touch the same places as the people who hacked, chopped and dug our modern province out of the same forests.

Our first Guidebook release will be regarding the history of the Huron Tract and the Huron Road, as well as the Canada Company and the Guelph-Goderich plot. This is a compelling story of the early colonial expansion that opened up the interior of southwestern Ontario, and involves some very interesting characters, as well as plenty of sites that you can visit today that have not yet forgotten this period of our history.

Until then, what you see is what you get!

We look forward to developing and expanding to serve you better soon.
